INTERGRID™
INTERGRID™ is SIGSA's next-generation CANBUS-based communication protocol for robust, high-speed device connectivity. It enables plug-and-play multi-device management on a single bus — the Configurator handles device detection and configuration automatically.
Supported Devices
The following devices support INTERGRID™ connection:
Vehicle Control Systems
- Lattice™ C
- Lattice™
When to Use
- Devices equipped with INTERGRID™ CANBUS connectivity
- Multi-device configuration on a single bus
- When automatic device detection is preferred
Steps
- Connect the device to your computer via USB.
- Click Connect in the top navigation bar.
- Set the connection method to INTERGRID™.
- Click Connect.
The Configurator automatically detects all devices on the INTERGRID™ bus, performs handshakes, and presents each device on its own page.
Important Notes
- INTERGRID™ uses CANBUS technology for communication — ensure your device supports INTERGRID™ connectivity.
- All devices on the bus are detected automatically — no manual protocol selection required.
- Ensure the devices at both ends of the bus have proper 120Ω termination. Without correct termination, the Configurator will fail to recognize any bus devices except the controller itself.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| No devices detected | Verify the device is powered on and connected. Check that the USB cable supports data transfer. |
| Only controller detected, other bus devices not found | Ensure the devices at both ends of the bus have proper 120Ω CANBUS termination. |
| Connection fails | Ensure no other application is using the same serial port. Close other applications and try again. |
