Getting Started
This guide walks you through opening the Configurator, connecting a device, and navigating the interface for the first time.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have the following:
- A compatible browser — Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc, etc.)
- A USB cable — to connect your device to your computer
- A SIGSA device — powered and ready to connect (ESC, EVL, or EVCS)
tip
If you're unsure whether your browser is supported, see System Requirements.
Opening the Configurator
- Open your browser and navigate to here.
- You'll land on the Home page, which shows the app status and any previously connected devices.
No login or account is required — the Configurator runs entirely in your browser.
Connecting Your First Device
- Plug in your device to your computer using a USB cable.
- Click the Connect button in the top navigation bar.
- In the connection dialog, select your device's serial port from the list.
- Choose Direct as the connection method.
- Click Connect — the Configurator will perform a handshake and read your device information.
Once connected, your device appears in the interface and you're taken to the Device page.
For more details on connection methods, auto-connect, and troubleshooting connection issues, see Connecting Devices.
